We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Caroline Pauwels, a great friend to @AEJBelgium we worked closely together over the years and expanded the #DifferenceDay events through collaboration. Our condolences to her family and colleagues at @VUBrussel

VUB @VUBrussel

In 2016, Caroline Pauwels (1964-2002) became rector of the VUB. As the second female rector, she continued to build upon a great connection with the outside world. We will miss her. Read about her achievements: https://today.vub.be/en/article/in-memoriam-caroline-pauwels

Very saddened to hear that Wilfried has left the building - Wilfried Ruetten was a real innovator in #journalism - that innovative stance helped welcome thousands of journalists to Brussels and get to know the EU. RIP and condolences to his own https://www.journalismfestival.com/news/wilfried-ruetten-1952-2022/

#USA🇺🇸: Female journalist reporting on lethal injections & Alabama executions was told her skirt was too short and another said she had to go through a full-body inspection. We condemn such #sexist practices hindering #journalists from doing their job.
