Co-designing independent open source tools for protecting journalists and their sources in 2019. What’s in it for you as EU correspondents and for media reporting on European Affairs?
Belgium plays host to a worldwide gathering of developers using free and open software, known as FOSDEM (www.fosdem.org/2019). This year the Université Libre de Bruxelles ULB campus will host FOSDEM on the first weekend of February.
AEJ Belgium invites you to the Press Club Brussels Europe on Monday February 4 (9:00-12:00am) to meet some Necunos ‘white hat hackers’ from the FOSDEM19 event to discuss current security tools and why they may not be enough (for journalists).
This is one more reason for AEJ Belgium to co-organise this #infosec hackathon and get your input on the design of the upcoming secure new mobile devices and software to empower journalism and the internet of trust.
